Privacy policy
Who we are
Imperium Sky Ventures (the operator, "we", "us") runs CloudCape, software for travel advisors and agencies, and this website. This policy explains what personal information we handle on this website and in the service, and why.
Two roles: our customers' data and our own
On this website, and when you ask us about the service or book a demo, we decide why and how your information is used. We are the controller of that information.
Inside the service, an advisor or agency (our customer) loads information about their own clients and travellers. For that information the customer decides why and how it is used and we process it on the customer's behalf. If you are a traveller and have a question about your information, please contact your advisor first.
What we collect
On this website and in the sales and support relationship:
- contact details you give us when you book a demo or write to us, such as your name, work email and agency;
- account details when you create an account, such as your name, business email and sign-in credentials;
- billing details when you start a trial or subscribe, handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers;
- basic technical data such as your browser, device and pages viewed, used to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
We use information to:
- provide, secure and support the service and the website;
- set up demos, trials and subscriptions and take payment;
- communicate with you about your account and the service;
- meet our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
AI features
The service can connect to an AI assistant the customer already uses (bring your own AI). When a customer connects one, the data the customer's assistant is permitted to read or write flows between the service and that assistant under the customer's own agreement with its provider. We do not sell customer data.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run the service (for example hosting, payment processing, email and messaging delivery), when the law requires it, or in a sale or reorganisation of the business. Providers are bound to protect the information and to use it only for the services they perform for us.
Retention
We keep information for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal, accounting and security purposes. A customer can ask us to delete the data it holds in the service.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, or to object to or restrict certain uses. To exercise a right, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify who you are first.
Cookies
This website uses only what it needs to work. It does not use advertising cookies.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. This version is a draft.
