CloudCape vs Tern

Questions
Is CloudCape cheaper than Tern?
We cannot say yet. CloudCape's prices are announced at launch. Tern's published prices, read on 2026-11-02, are $49 per seat per month billed monthly and $35 per seat per month billed quarterly or annually.
Can I use my own AI assistant with Tern?
Tern's pages describe Tern AI, included in the base plan with basic usage. They do not mention bring-your-own AI or an MCP connector, so ask Tern directly. CloudCape offers bring-your-own AI over MCP at no charge.
Does CloudCape do commission reconciliation like Tern?
Not to the same depth. CloudCape tracks expected and received commission per trip. Tern describes automatic commission splits, payout statements and multi-layer payouts for agencies.
Does CloudCape have a mobile app?
No native app. Tern's advisor app is in open beta on iPhone and Android.
