Build a day-by-day itinerary

Steps

1. Open the trip's Options tab and choose "Start Option A".
2. Choose "Add day". Day 0 is "Before departure" and you can add it with "Add before departure".
3. Under a day choose "Add item to day N", pick what you are adding (Flight, Lodging, Activity, Transport, Cruise, Tour, Dining or Info), and fill in the form. A title is required.
4. Optionally set a time as you want it shown, start and end, location, and the fields for that kind of item, such as airline and flight number for a flight or property and check-in for lodging.
5. To show a price, use "Price (a line from Proposal)" and pick one of the trip's price lines. To show who it is for, use "For". Tick "Optional add-on" if its price should not count towards the total.
6. Choose "Add item".
7. Reorder with the drag handle, or with the Up, Down, Earlier day and Later day buttons.
8. Use "Rename", "Duplicate" or "New itinerary" at the top to make more versions.

What you will see

• Days show dates once the trip has a Travel start date.
• An item holds no money itself. It shows the sell price of the price line it is linked to, never cost, markup or supplier details.
• A flight with both airport codes shows each time in its airport's own time zone.
• A choice group lets the client choose one option from a set, for example hotels. Add one with "Add choice group".
• The Travel tab shows the chosen itinerary day by day, read-only.
