Price a trip with price lines

Set your default markup and fees, add price lines for each booking, and read the totals your client will see.

Steps

Open the trip's Proposal tab.
Under "Trip defaults", set "Default markup %", "Planning fee ($)" and "Trip commission fee ($)". Choose "Save defaults".
Under "Price lines", choose "Add line".
Pick a Type: Booking, Add-on or Adjustment (discount).
For a booking or add-on, enter the Item (required), Supplier, Conf #, and Cost ($). Leave "Markup % (blank = trip default)" empty to use your default. Optionally add Expected commission ($), Received commission ($) and Expected commission date.
Tick "Booked" once the supplier booking is confirmed. Leave "Markup eligible" on unless this line carries no markup.
Choose "Add line". Use Edit or Remove on a row later.
Check the "Totals" block: Cost, Markup, Fees, Adjustments and Total.

Sell price is cost plus markup, or just cost if the line is not markup eligible. Cancelled lines count as zero.
Total = the sum of sell prices, plus adjustments, the planning fee and the trip commission fee.
Your client sees only sell prices. Cost, markup, commission, supplier and confirmation numbers are never shown on the client page.
For an adjustment, enter a negative amount to give a discount.

Use plain dollars; a $ sign and commas are fine. Negative amounts are only allowed on adjustments.

Amounts are capped at 2,000,000,000 minor units (cents, for US dollars).

A trip has one currency. Totals in different currencies are never added together.
