What your connected AI can and cannot do
The things your assistant can read and change, how skills guide it, and the limits built in.
Steps
- Connect your assistant first (see "Connect Claude or ChatGPT").
- Ask it to look things up: trips, a trip's brief, its itineraries, its proposal and the client's latest decision, open client requests, your calendar for a date range, a client's consent settings, or contacts by name, email or phone.
- Ask it to make changes: create or update clients, leads and trips, add or update travellers, import a roster (it can preview first), and add a dated note to a trip, client or lead.
- Open Skills in the left menu. A skill is a how-to your assistant follows, such as plan-trip-options, follow-up-sweep, client-memory-touch, next-trip-nudge, trip-brief and grade-outcomes.
- Ask your assistant to run one by name. Each run, how it ended and its grade show on that skill's page.
- The owner or an admin can use "Add a skill" to write your own, and "Edit" to change a starter. Your edit is kept when the app updates.
What you will see
- It cannot delete anything, and it cannot send emails, texts or payments. It writes drafts and notes for you to use.
- Money amounts: trip budgets are whole currency units; itinerary and proposal figures are in cents.
- Before creating someone it should search first; if a client with the same email or phone exists, it saves the new record and tells you about the possible duplicate.
- Limits: an import is 200 travellers at most, a note is up to 2,000 characters, and a calendar request is up to 400 days.
- What it did this month shows on Home > Digest, with time and money saved as estimates.
Common problems
"Ask RJ" in the right-hand column.
That is a separate how-to helper that answers questions about using the app. It does not read or change your agency data, and it only appears when your server has it turned on.
The assistant cannot see another agency.
Correct. It works inside your agency. Only platform superadmins can name another agency.
Only the owner or an admin can change skills.
Everyone else can read the skills and see their runs.
Skill names starting with automation- or recipe- are refused.
Those are reserved for the automation engine. Pick another name.
Starter skills have not arrived.
They are added the first time the Skills page or your AI app asks for them. Reload in a moment.
